Boil Water Advisory to Last until Friday in Jackson

A Boil Water Order has been issued for the city of Jackson. The Boil water order was issue for residents residing  along intersection of Old Cape Road and Gloria Street, to 3203 Old Cape Road, including all of Old Hickory Drive, and 1763 and 1795 June Lane. City crews worked Thursday  on the water main along Old Cape Road in the area between June Lane and Old Hickory Drive. The Boil Water Advisory will be effective until at least 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2019. City crews worked on A Boil Water Advisory is issued for precautionary reasons only. An order is issued mostly due to water line breaks or other low-pressured events in which the water may be contaminated. This and boil water advisory will expire at 5 p.m. Friday unless there is further notice by City officials.
