Unemployment Stands at 4.3% in Kentucky

State officials in Kentucky say, unemployment rate across the state rose slightly in July, but was lower than a year ago. Officials say, the state’s jobless rate was 4.3% in July. The rate for July is above the rate of 4.1% in June, but was above the unemployment rate of 4.4%  in July of last year. Officials say,  the state  manufacturing sector jumped by 3,900 jobs from June to July. The Professional and business service sector added 2,900 jobs.
