City Officials Looking to the FAA for Input on Projects

The construction projects of a new terminal, along with a  control tower may have to be postponed. This is because more projects have to be coordinated with FAA regulations, city officials say. They say, the FAA may want them to work on other airport projects first. City officials have made the decision to wait a while longer to determine the schedule in which the projects will be completed. City officials say, the airport manager, along with FAA officials may want the city to improve the taxiways before a new terminal and tower can be constructed. Both projects are expected to cost a total of $6.8 million. City officials expect to receive a total of $2.5 million to go towards the project. The project is scheduled to begin next year.
