Money is now available to all victims, who were affected by this year’s flooding in Alexander County. The Illinois Realtors Relief foundation is donating up to $15,000 in relief. The organization works with local associations like the Egyptian Board of Realtors to give money to those impacted by a natural disaster. Each home owner and family, who was effected can receive a maximum of $500 Officials say, this will help the county thrive again, and they want to get the community up and going again, and prosper. Officials say, the money can be used for several things, associated with homes such as a mortgage payment, rent, or a deductable on your homeowners insurance. The money will be given out on a first come first serve basis. Anyone, who has any questions, can contact the Egyptian Board of Realtors.
