Ten Organizations Will Receive First Time Funding from the United Way

The United Way of Southeast Missouri will fund 10 new programs over the period of three years during their next funding cycle. The United way will fund a total of 38 organizations in total. These organizations were chosen from during a process that started several months back. These various organizations were chosen from a group of fifty that applied for United Way Funding. The organizations that applied were from the counties of Bollinger, Perry, Cape Girardeau, and Scott Counties. The thirty eight programs that were chosen by united way will receive their funding from 28 different organizations over a period of three calendar years. The Organizations that will receive funding have not been identified yet. They will be revealed at the end of the month at a press conference, to be held at the Cape Girardeau Public Library on the 30th.
