A former Mississippi County Sheriff has been sentenced to jail. The Sheriff was identified as Cory Hutcheson. He was given sentenced to six months in federal prison, four months of home confinement and three years of supervised release. All charges will run concurrent. He pleaded guilty to wire fraud back in November and illegally possessing and transferring the means of identification of others including mobile telephone numbers, without lawful authority and and in connection with the commission of felony forgery.
