SEMO Defeats Division II Foe

The SEMO Baseball team defeated McKendree University 4-1on Tuesday at Capaha Field. Six pitchers were used and they only allowed a total of five hits. The Redhawks have now won three straight games and improved their record to 19-23. The Redhawks led for the entire game. SEMO took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a single by A. Nelson. McKenndrey scored their only run of the ball game in the seventh frame. Daniel Loyd earned the victory by working the first two innings. The Redhawks will head to West Lafayette Indiana to take on the Purdue Boilermakers.
