Man Arrested for Role in Shooting

A Carbondale man was taken into police custody on Thursday in connection with a shooting. The man was identified as 27 year-old Jody Pullen, Jr. Police say he was arrested around 2 p.m. in the 400 block of Small Street in Harrisburg. He is currently being held at the Saline County Jail. He was taken into custody on a a warrant for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated battery with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. On April 12, officers responded to the shooting on the 100 block of North Washington Street at 10 p.m. Three victims were found at the scene with gunshot wounds. A fourth person had already been taken to the hospital. Pullen was identified as a suspect. Witnesses say they heard gunshots in the area around ABC Liquor Mart on Washington Street. The investigation is ongoing.
