Belmont Comes Back From Five Down To Beat Racers

The Murray State Baseball team blew a five run lead on Thursday and lost to the Belmont Bruins 9-6. All of the Bruins runs were scored in the final three innings. Ryan Perkins left the yard twice in a loseing effort.. Brock Anderson went 3 for 5 with an RBI. Joe Ivey three six scoreless innings before the Bruins bats came alive. Brock Anderson got the scoreing stated as he hit a triple and then came around to score. Ryan Perkins then hit his first home run to extend the lead to 3-0.  The racers added two more runs in the fifth inning. It started with a leadoff double Brock Anderson then scored on a wild pitch Ryan Perkins then hit his second home run to extend the lead to 5-0. The Racers would go on to add one more run.
