Suspicious Person Report Leads to Arrest

Two suspicions people were reported in Metropolis Illinois on Thursday. Only one person was arrested. Police say, the principal at the local Jr. High School called police to report there were two suspicious people walking around the front parking lot. The suspect was identified as 33 year-old Terry S. Kirks. The suspect was arrested on aggravated domestic battery warrant issued by Massac County. During a search of Kirks’ clothing, police say they found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and brass knuckles. Kirks reportedly told police the shorts he was wearing were not his. Kirks was booked into the Massac County Detention Center.
