Man Arrested for Probation Violation

Police in Ballard County Kentucky stopped a man riding a tricycle on Wednesday. The man was charged with on a warrant out of McCracken County for a Probation Violation. He was also charged with first-degree, first-offense possession Controlled Substance Methamphetamine. He also bought and possessed drug paraphernalia. Police say the incident happened at 8:20.p.m. when they were conducting a traffic stop for equipment violations at the corner of E 5th St and Oak St in La Center. Police say, they saw the man riding a tricycle west bound on E 5th St, approaching the intersection of Oak St. Police released the other vehicle from their violations after it was realized the suspect had a warrant from McCracken County. Police searched the suspect after they stopped him and found a broken glass pipe attached to a rubber hose containing suspected methamphetamine. The man was taken into custody and transported to the Ballard County Jail
