A Charleston Missouri man is facing charges after he was found to be a convicted felon in possession of a firearm on Saturday. The man was identified as 24-year-old Cornelius Perkins of Charleston. Police say, he was arrested early Saturday Morning at 2:30.am. when a police officer came in contact with him. The firearm he had in his possession was stolen. Perkins is currently being held in the Mississippi County Jail on the charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. His bond has been set at $50,000.
