A person took police on a low speed chase through several Missouri Counties on Tuesday afternoon. Police say the chase ended at 4:30.p.m. in St. Genevieve County. There were two people inside the car and they were both taken into custody around the 146 mile marker. Police say, the chase started on Interstate 55 northbound at the 116 mile marker. The case is still under investigation by police. Police say, the chase began when as a wrong way driver that then turned back around the correct direction. Police also say that he driver refused to stop and spikes were deployed in Perry County. The vehicle was traveling along at only four miles per hour as police vehicles followed. The interstate was not closed to traffic, but traffic chase caused traffic to be backed up.
