Rescue crews pulled a diseased man’s body out of the Mississippi River in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday after his vehicle went into the river on Monday night. Police say, that emergency crews tried to search on Monday, but didn’t have any luck. Police, also say the incident occurred at the Red Star Boat Ramp Monday night and they received the call around nine. Firemen from the Cape Girardeau Fire Department were able to locate the vehicle using their sonar equipment. A dive team from the Missouri State Highway Patrol discovered a male victim diseased behind the wheel. The incident is still under investigation by police. The man’s identity hasn’t been confirmed at this time.
