A trail that was full of coal derailed in Sparta Illinois on Thursday. The train went off the tracks shortly after it departed. The derailment was reported just before 8.a.m. on Thursday morning. The train that derailed was carrying 13 cars full of coal along with another engine. Police, say they believe that the rain saturated ground shifted causing the derailment. The Union Pacific hazmat team was on the scene because one of the cars was leaking oil.
