There was a two vehicle crash in Stoddard County on Saturday. The crash took place on Route C in Advance. The drivers of both vehicles were injured in the crash.  The crash occurred at 3:00 p.m.  The two victims were identified as 57 year-old Scotty A Lewis and 58 year-old James E. Greer. A 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo, being driven by Greer was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane and struck a 1991 Chevy 1500 driven by Lewis. Greer was pronounced dead at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Lewis sustained minor injuries in the crash. He refused medical attention at the scene.
