A cadet Missouri man was taken into police custody in Cape Girardeau on Saturday. The arrest was made at 9:24.p.m. The man who, was arrested was identified as 34 year-old Sterling E. Lawson. He was taken into custody on Several Felony charges. He was charged with DWI, Driving with a revoked License and a Failure to appear warrant from Washington County for marijuana possession. He was taken into custody following a traffic crash in which his vehicle ran off the left side of the road down an embarkment. The crash happened on Highway 61 one mile south of Old Apppleton. He sustained Minor injuries in the crash and was transported to St. Francis Medical Center for treatment. He was transported to the Cape Girardeau County Jail. He was released following a 24 hour hold.
