There was a traffic crash that occurred in Pemiscot County. The crash took place on Interstate 55 at mile marker 14. The crash occurred at 11:45 .a.m. Thursday morning. The crash was a solo vehicle crash.  The driver o0f the 2011 Dodge Caliber was injured in the crash. The victim was identified as 71 year-old Patricia A. Chaplain. The accident occurred as the vehicle she was driving was heading northbound and the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail face. The victim sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
