There was a car crash that took place in Cape Girardeau County on Monday evening. The crash occurred at 6:15 .p.m. on Highway KK two miles east of Friedham. The crash was a solo car crash involving a Chevy Cruiz. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 30 year-old Derek K. Gross. He was injured in the crash. The crash happened as the vehicle exited the roadway on the right side and struck bridge causing damage to it. Gross was transported to Perry County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
