One victim was killed in a shooting in St. Francis County. The shooting took place in the Leadwood area of St. Francois County on Tuesday. Police obtained a search warrant to search a residence in the area. No one came to door when police arrived causing them to break in. When police entered the home a male suspect fired shots in their direction. Police fired back and killed the suspect. There were for others inside the home, which were taken into custody. The suspect was identified as Michael W. Mobley Police are currently investigating the incident.
