New Suspect Taken into Custody for St. Gen Murder

A new suspect has been taken into police custody following the discovery of a St.Genevive man’s body in Potosi.  On Wednesday, police pressed charges against Anthony L. Skaggs. He is currently being held on a bond of $25,000 a St.Genevieve County Detention Center. He was charged with a Class E Felony of abandonment of a corpse. The suspect disposed his step father’s body without telling anyone. He was also charged with tampering with physical evidence. Forty-one-year-old Angel Marie Senter was also taken into custody for helping the original suspect Susan Skaggs Armantrout in moving the body to an empty storage shed. She was charged with the same charge as Anthony Skaggs. Aaron Armantrout’s wife Susan, currently has charges pending against her of first-degree murder, armed criminal action and abandonment of a corpse charges. She is being held on a 1 million dollar bond.
