Dominion Sand Mining Plant to be located in Cape Girardeau was approved for a grant for a roadway to be constructed to go to their facility. The project will cost the sand plant company a total of $623,000.   The grant was put forth and voted on by the city on October 18; 2018.The Company received the grant from the Delta Regional Authority. The roadway project will be constructed at the junction of routes B and E located near Daisy.
