The Missouri State Highway Patrol has promoted one of their employee’s. The officer was identified as Sergeant Johnny L. Ellsworth. Ellsworth’s previous position in the Sheriff’s office was overseeing Drug and Crime Control in Jefferson City. He is now being promoted to lieutenant. He will now be responsible for supervising the Eastern District of the Gaming Division and General Headquarters. Ellsworth will begin working in his new role on November 1, 2018.
