In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month Southeast Missouri State University will be hosting their first ever Hawktober fest. The event will take place in front of Houk Stadium prior to the football game. The Redhawks football team will take on Jacksonville State at 2.p.m.. There will be a free German themed tailgate with beer and brat worst. Tickets for the event start at $25..00. There will also be a fall festival for the kids with a hay maze, along with face painting. Every adult, who attends the event will receive a free beer mug.
