The Missouri Office of Administration is introducing a new website providing more transparency to the state budget. The new website will be called budgetexplorer.mo.gov .This website was created to provide state residents with an easy-to-use, one-stop resource for important information. Citizens will be able to have a better understanding of the role of each department and the services they provide. A measure of performance for each company will be introduced to the website next year. The website will have links to each department’s strategic management priorities, as well as legislative budget bills. The new website will be provided with updates two times a year. The two updates will take place when Governor Mike Parsens unveils his budget recommendations and when the General Assembly has passed the state budget for each year starting next year.
