Missouri Department of Conservation Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center is Hosting Long bow workshop

The Missouri Department of Conservation Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center will be hosting a workshop for residents to construct their own long bows. The workshop will be held October 4-6. Each person, who makes their own cross bow, will be doing so under the guidance of AJ Hendershott, MDC’s outreach and education regional supervisor. The cost to participate in the event and to purchase supplies costs $100.  Participants in the work must be over the age of 15. Good upper body strength and wood working skills are recommended. The workshop will be open from  6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., on October 4, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 5th and, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 6th
