Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease Raises over $20,000

There may have been rain on September 22, 2018, but that didn’t stop people from participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The walk took place in Carbondale Illinois at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Campus Lake. There were a total of over 150 people who took part in the event. There was over $20,000 raised in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. There will be another walk to raise money for this cause on October 6, 20018. The walk will take place in Marion Illinois. The event will be located at Marion VA Hospital. Those who want to donate online can do so by going to the Alzheimer’s Association website at http://act.alz.org/. Donations from the general public will be accepted until December.
