A 4 year- old girl in Cape Girardeau was nominated for a new room design through an organization called Room for Smiles. Room for Smiles is a non-profit organization that redecorates the bedrooms of children who have terminal or chronic illnesses. The four year old girls name is Kinslee Kender, she has Rett syndrome. It is a rare non-inherited genetic postnatal neurological disorder.  The disease affects mostly girls. It affects their ability to speak, eat, walk and breathe. The redesign took two full days to complete
