Man in fake police car arrested by real officers

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — A driver in suburban St. Louis is accused of using fake emergency lights and a police siren to speed past traffic.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that a video surfaced this week showing the driver of a silver sedan speeding past traffic in St. Charles. Police soon started getting calls about the vehicle.

Police say the car was spotted speeding and using lights and a siren on Interstate 70 on Wednesday morning. Real officers stopped the car and arrested the driver. Formal charges were said to be pending.
