Waller sentenced 35 years for interstate domestic violence

James Clay Waller was sentenced to 35 years on federal interstate domestic violence charges. The southeast Missouri resident was sentenced to 20 years in 2013 for beating and strangling his estranged wife. He admitted to digging the grave and burying Waller in Illinois which lead to the federal charges. As part of the sentence, Waller is not allowed to profit from his manuscript detailing the murder and motive.
