Some evidence not given in Stockley case

An investigation has revealed Missouri’s former Attorney General withheld evidence related the Jason Stockley case. The former St. Louis Police officer was acquitted in the shooting death of Anthony Lamar Smith in 2011. Stockley claimed he shot Smith as he was reaching for a gun, but the prosecution argued the fun was planted. An investigation found DNA samples on the gun matched that of Stockley but not Smith. An investigation was launched by current Attorney General Josh Hawley.
