Former Illinois congressman and presidential candidate John B. Anderson is dead at 95. Anderson’s family announced his death Monday. Anderson represented Illinois in the House of Representatives for 20 years  and took a run at the presidency in 1980 running as an independent. Anderson was born in Rockford in 1922 and entered Congress in 1961.
