IL task force hoping to ensure education for adult students

A task force in Illinois is looking for ways to ensure adult students can get education and literary training. The Statewide Task Force on the Future of Adult Education and Literacy is working to develop a group study in order to find ways to develop more work force training over the next five years. The Taskforce says more than one million Illinois residents do not have a high school diploma or equivalence certificate, but that seven in ten jobs require some kind of education or training beyond high school.
