Jefferson City faces low marks for LGBT protections

Missouri’s capital city of Jefferson City received poor marks when it comes ot supporting members of the LGBT community. A Human Rights Campaign report revealed Jefferson City was one of 10 cities that received zeros in factors such as laws protecting gays and lesbians from discrimination, services offered to the LGBT community and city leaders who support pro-equality legislation. Human Rights Campaign is a group that advocates on behalf of the LGBT community.
