Former Perry County, Missouri, coroner Herb Miller is facing new charges. Miller was convicted in 2015 on felony charge of financial exploitation of elderly and stealing more than $25,000. He was originally sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections but was put on probation for five years and must pay more than $80,000 in restitution. The state’s attorney General, Josh Hawley, announced Thursday Miller would be facing charges of theft and stealing. Miller is not in custody and a probation hearing has not yet occurred.
