Illinois is one of 15 states and Washington D.C. suing President Donald Trump for rolling back the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. The president said Tuesday Congress would have six months to find a legislative solution to the Obama-era order that protects young immigrants from being deported. Most of these immigrants came to the US as the young children of undocumented immigrants. Tuesday, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner said the legislation is up to the United States Congress.

The Washington state attorney filing the suit also sued the president over a travel ban six months ago.
