Cape Girardeau/Bollinger County Major Squad has been disbanded per protocol 72 hours following a murder investigation Saturday morning. 22-year-old Jimmy Walker was shot around 3 a.m. at the 500 block of South Sprigg Saturday and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police spoke with Randall Lewis who they believed had information about the case. He is not considered a suspect.

Cape Girardeau Police Department is continuing the investigation.
