A Sikeston woman is being charged with involuntary manslaughter after hitting a cyclist Saturday afternoon. Sikeston police say Alonda Harris was driving down William Street and spotted a cyclist driving toward her in the same lane. She swerved to avoid hitting him, but the cyclist did the same and they collided head on. Harris was discovered to have smoked synthetic marijuana before the accident. She’s being held on $10,000 cash or surety bond.
