TN congressman introduces impeachment articles against President Trump

A democratic congressman from Tennessee is looking to impeach President Donald Trump.  Representatives Steve Cohen introduced articles of impeachment Thursday in response President Trump’s remarks concerning a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that resulted in one death.

At that press conference the president said, “There were fine people on both sides.”

The remarks have received criticism from both democrats and republicans with Senator John McCain tweeting “no moral equivalency between racists and Americans standing up to defy hate.”

Cohen said Trump failed the test of moral presidential leadership.

‘There are no good Nazis,” Cohen said. “There are no good Klansmen.”

Cohen said in a press conference the Constitution and other documents do not clarify what qualifies as an impeachable offense.
