A fire in Cape Girardeau Tuesday morning resulted in the death of 49-year-old Deena Williams. Fire crews responded to a call of a house on fire on Hightway V at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday. Fire fighters from Gordonville, East County and Fruitland responded and found the house nearly engulfed in flames and thick smoke.
