Gaege Bethune has been accused of murdering Southern Illinois University-Carbondale Pravin Varughese in 2014.

Bethune is believed to be the last person to see Varughese alive.

Evidence suggests Bethune punched Varughese in the head after giving him a ride home from a party. Varughese was left in the woods where he later died of hypothermia.

Bethune was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of felony murder.
