Cape Girardeau City Council voted Monday to raise golf course fees by 5 percent. The raise was proposed by District 6 representative Wayne Bowen at the June 6 meeting as a way to compete with the 5 percent total increase in utility deposit fees passed at the June 6 meeting. The change in golf fees is effective January 1.
