A bill to raise Illinois’ minimum wage to $15 is on its way to Governor Bruce Rauner’s desk Friday. The bill would gradually raise the state’s minimum wage from $8.25 per hour to $15 by the year 2022. The bill passed both the Senate 30-23 but is expected to be vetoed by Governor Rauner.
