“Thin Blue Line Tahoe” driver facing lawsuit

A Farmington man is facing a lawsuit after Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley says he solicited donations for a fake non-profit. Terry Lemons collected donations from southern Missouri voters claiming the donations were for a memorial for fallen law enforcement. Hawley claims Lemons instead used funds to make his vehicle look like a police vehicle complete with radar equipment, a shot gun, emergency lights and computer. Lemons called the vehicle the “Thin Blue Line Tahoe.” Hawley said he used the rest of the money for other personal uses, including an account on match.com.
