Cape Girardeau have identified the victim of a shooting last Thursday as 41-year-old Demetric Atchison. Atchison was shot and killed near 41 North Henderson last week and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cape Girardeau and Bollinger County Special Case Squad was investigating, but was disbanded on Monday. The Special Case Squad can only be active for a period of 72 hours. There are no suspects at this time.
