Several Thousands of Missourians Haven’t Received Tax Refunds from 2018

The Missouri State Auditor’s Office still receives complaints that several residents have not received their tax refunds from 2018. Since the beginning of May the office has received more than 3,000 complaints from taxpayers because they are concerned about delays in getting refunds. Several residents that haven’t received their refunds across the state are those who are seniors, those suffering from a disability or on a fixed income. Officials say they started communicating directly with the Department of Revenue to try to get answers for taxpayers. As of now, they have contacted the Department of Revenue on behalf of more than 2,500 taxpayers
