Man Now Pleads Guilty To Killing Cape Girardeau Man

A man withdrew form a guilty plea and now has pleaded guilty to the death of a Cape Girardeau man. The man was identified as James W. Gray. Another man involved in the case, was identified as Alexander Martin, is scheduled for a case review on May 28, 2019. He was charged with tampering with physical evidence. In February of last year police responded to an apartment on S. Spring Ave. where they found 19-year-old Tyler Conway deadon the floor from an apparent gunshot wound. Gray allegedly shot and killed Conway. Martin allegedly took the battery and sim card out of Conway’s cell phone and threw the phone into Capaha Lagoon.
