Teacher Appears In Court for Recording Students (Up Date)

A Former Teacher at Murray High school, who placed a video recorder in the bathroom, was in court on Wednesday. The man was identified as Mark Boggess. During the court hearing the former teacher’s attorney asked the judge to decrease his bond. The request was not granted. A preliminary hearing has been set for May 29, 2018. He was taken into police custody on April 25, 2019 after staff at the school reported that a recording device was found to be set up in the nurses station. Police say, the recorder captured Bogges putting the recorder in place, and he was arrested after being questioned. He is charged with three counts of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor and an additional four counts of voyeurism
