There was a structure fire in Cape Girardeau on Wednesday. Fire crews were dispatched to the scene just before 7.p.m. on Wednesday evening. The fire happened on near the industrial area in Southside of Cape Girardeau at 408 Cooper Street. Fire fighters say, the old Kasten Concrete Products building was in the process of being torn down on Wednesday. Two battalions were dispatched to the scene. Fire crews were on the scene extinguishing hot spots until around 8.p.m. The fire is believed to be accidental.
